Born and raised in San Francisco. Not always the good parts! I formed my first band in highschool (with Will Carroll, in fact!) and have always had a passion for metal. I feel fortunate that I was able to be a part of the Bay Area thrash scene, which had a great influence on me and my life with music. 

 

I'm a bit of a gear nerd and at the age of 40-something I've finally reached a point where I love my damn rig! ESP, Mesa Boogie, EMG, Line 6, Furman, Voodoo Lab, Dunlop....you complete me. Ha! 

 

Oh...musical influences...yea, so those range from James Hetfield and Tom Petty, and bands, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Venom, Dio, Ozzy, Misfits.....and so many more across so many genres. You might be shocked with what you'll find in my iPod. 

 

I also think that dogs are pretty fucking metal! Especially my labradors.
